About Us
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Foundation are to make donations and support charities in underdeveloped countries principally in Latin America and the Caribbean, relieving financial hardship particularly in respect of assisting charities who work with children. The Foundation has fairly broad parameters so it can help charities that demonstrate the eligibility as detailed below, the Foundation is also open to giving to animal related charities.
The Foundation cannot make donations to charities based in the United States.
The Council Members remain flexible and wish to fund the most compelling projects, we do not have target expenditure per annum.

Donations
Who is eligible?
- We will always prioritise applications from organisations that are registered in the country where the proposed work/project will take place. Applicants are welcome to include partner organisations not registered in their home jurisdiction but must be able to clearly demonstrate the added value of all partner organisations included in the proposal.
- The Foundation will only fund registered charities with a clearly defined charitable purpose.
- The charity must have a proven track record of delivering on its objectives.
- The charity will need to provide the appropriate due diligence documentation.
- The charity should demonstrate a commitment to putting the people they seek to serve at the heart of their decision making. This means that the foundation looks to work with organisation’s who can evidence input from, and accountability to those they work on behalf of.
- The charity must have robust governance and financial management in place, having the highest standards of safeguarding their staff and beneficiaries.
- Any charities assisting or interacting with children must have the appropriate polices in place and will need to ensure that their staff have the relevant safeguarding training (or local equivalent). Documentary evidence of this will be required as part of the application.

• Budgetary expectations
Once an initial decision has been has been made, we will revert back to you with our decision and if the application is successful an outline of the next steps to receiving funding including any due diligence documentation that is required in order for us to process the application.
